Pulsar Axion Thermal Monoculars
The Axion is all about keeping things small and light. It fits in a jacket pocket, making it easy to take on long walks without noticing the extra weight.
Plenty of models in the range use Lynred thermal sensors, start up quickly and run on APS batteries you can swap out in the field.
Some Axion models also have a built in laser rangefinder. This comes in handy when you need to judge distances across open ground.
Pulsar Telos Thermal Monoculars
The Telos is Pulsar’s newest generation of thermal monocular and it brings a few fresh ideas with it.
The biggest one is that parts of the device can be upgraded later through authorised service centres. That is a practical approach that helps the Telos stay useful for longer without needing to be replaced.
Pulsar has also moved the focusing wheel closer to the hand, which makes using it one handed more comfortable over a long session.
Pulsar Oryx Thermal Monoculars
The Oryx is built for people who spend a lot of time outside in tough conditions.
It pairs high sensitivity thermal sensors with image stabilisation, keeping the view steady when you are holding it by hand at longer distances.
The housing is sturdy and the grip is well thought out, so it feels solid to use in bad weather or rough terrain.
What Makes Pulsar Different?
A few things have become closely linked with Pulsar across the whole thermal range.
Stream Vision lets you move photos and videos across to your phone or tablet. There are multiple colour palettes to choose from, a picture in picture mode and Pulsar keeps pushing out firmware updates that add new features and improvements over time.
